Zero, our very first dog, celebrated her second birthday last November 10. she had cake and yogurt. :)
yes, Zero is a 'she'.
make a wish, Zero~
when my younger siblings announced that they wanted to a retriever for a pet, i wasn't very in to the idea. taking care of another living being is one big responsibility. not to mention that Retrievers are big dogs --well, medium if you want to get technical. our mother wasn't too eager either. they pushed through with that plan anyway.
by January of 2009, they brought home this small fluff ball.
i gave in. who wouldn't? it's so cute i wanted to squish it hard. -_-
then started our journey...
we took her on trips to Argao.
even on dog walks with our friends.
we dressed her up on some occasions.
the most memorable thing that zero gave us was when she had her puppies on June 25, 2010.
the biggest factor that contributed to this certain memory is the month-long sleeplessness. i for one, does not want to repeat this experience again. EVER.
it was tiring but i learned a lot during that time. did you know that newborn puppies can't produce their own heat?
the puppies are all grown up now and are with pet owners i'm hoping are responsible enough not to forget to feed them.
we managed to keep one puppy from Zero's litter. a very dominant girl we named Aki whose father's name is Summer. so it's some kind of inside joke for us. hahaha
Aki
you don't want to mess with Aki. she was the only one that had the guts demand milk from Zero when she started weaning them.
Aki's not as behaved as Zero. the other day, we tried to Bieber-fy Zero we had no problem. when we tried posing Aki, she bit that idea off. so we only have Zero's take. haha
