The Suffering of Haruhi Suzumiya

we just finished watching this anime titled "the melancholy of haruhi suzumiya"

well, it's about this girl who actually has the power to recreate, or destroy, their world when it becomes too boring.

the catch is, she doesn't know about this, or that the alien, time traveler or esper that she'd been looking for were already part of her club, SOS brigade.

the funny thing was, she could easily wish for this ordinary (he's not an alien, time traveler or esper) member of their club (which i think she really, REALLY likes) to instantly fall for her. but, surprisingly, she didn't do it. instead, she tried rebuilding their world with just the two of them from the old one. she just stopped destroying their world when he did something from snow white and sleeping beauty (after snow white ate the apple and before sleeping beauty woke up) hehehe... gikilig siya mao wa na katug balik pagmata niya...

so what's my point you ask?

it's that human beings really like to feel pain.

she could easily wished for him yet she unconsciously chose to suffer.
